Before any cleaning has begun, our cleaning technician will inspect your carpet for areas that require specific treatment i.e stains and then give you an indication of the expected result. Through the combination of our specialist equipment and cleaning solutions we will ensure that your carpets are cleaned to the highest standard.

The only carpet cleaning method we use is the hot water extraction method, otherwise known as steam cleaning. Pro Clean do not offer a dry clean method for a number of reasons. 1. Dry powder extraction cannot flush soil and dust mites trapped at the base of the fibres out of the carpet, therefore allergy sufferers would not benefit from dry cleaning as they would with a wet clean. 2. Dry cleaning can cause discolouration and in some cases shrinking of the carpet. 3. The process is extremely slow. 4. Almost all carpet manufacturers request annual hot water extraction.

Stain Removal

With any carpet clean, Pro Clean offer a spot treating and stain removal service.

Through the combination of our specialist equipment and cleaning solutions, we will ensure that your carpet is cleaned as thoroughly as possible, however, you should be aware that some stains can cause permanent colour change and can react with stain removal products. In order to keep any stain damage to a minimum, Pro Clean recommend that the stain is treated as soon as possible as the longer the stain stays on the carpet the more difficult it can be to remove. You should also be aware that in some cases, stains cannot be removed from every fibre in the carpet dependant on the type of carpet and how long the stain has been on the carpet and because of this Pro Clean cannot guarentee complete removal of stains.

Rug Cleaning

Although vacuuming can remove a lot of dirt and debris from the rug, it is also necessary to clean rugs on a regular basis to remove the dirt that vacuums are unable to remove. Oily deposits can be left in between the fibres of the rug that come from cooking, pollution and dirt that has been brought in from outside. The oil that is left behind in the carpet can gradually damage the fibres of the rugs material and dilute the rugs colours leaving them looking permanently dull. If the oil is allowed to remain in the rug, it can also trap dirt.

The rugs colours can be restored once the layer of oily build up has been removed.
